Email signatures automatically add a personalised signature to emails. Email signatures can be configured from the Outlook desktop app or from Outlook web app in a browser. If you already have an email signature but would like to edit it, you can also do so from the Signature Settings window, instead of creating a new signature.
The easiest way to get started making a corporate signature, or when needing to refresh one with new campaign links, is to copy a standard Dietitians Australia signature from another staff member's recent email, paste into a new empty email, edit with your name, position, and contact information, then copy it to your clipboard afresh before you go to signature settings.
Creating email signature in the Outlook desktop app
1. Open the Outlook app and head to Home, then create a New Email.
2. From the New Email, head to the Insert tab and select Signature then Signatures... to open the signature settings window.
3. In the signature settings window, click New to create a new signature. Enter a name for the signature and click OK on the pop up window.
Enter the content for your signature. The easiest way to add a corporate signature is to copy a standard Dietitians Australia signature from another staff member's email, update the name, position, and contact information to your information, then paste into this editor. Once you have added your signature, hit Save.
4. Set your new signature as the default signature from the bottom of the signature settings window. Set it as the default for both New messages and Replies/forwards to have your signature included in all emails. Click OK to save the changes.
When you create a new email, your signature should now be automatically inserted.
Note that the organisation updates its signatures regularly to support marketing campaigns and events.
